Ah…The lazy Sunday Brunch. Champagne, nibbles and more bubblies. Topped off with great views of the Marina Bay. That’s what The Pelican Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet offers. In this review, we’ll show you all the offerings we experienced during the Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Pelican!

The Pelican Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet Menu

The Pelican is located at the edge of One Fullerton and offers splendid views of the Marina Bay area. The Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Pelican starts from 12pm and ends at 4pm. We made our reservations via Chope and arrived right at the start of the session. After a quick verification, we were offered to be seated indoors. Since it was a rather cool and breezy afternoon (the perfect day for a Sunday Brunch), we opted to be seated outdoors. Before long, we were provided with the Pelican Sunday Champagne Brunch menu…

The concept of buffet at the Pelican Sunday Brunch is slightly different. It is a seated Sunday Brunch Buffet. Not the usual ones that you have at the Line or the Bar and Billiard Room at Raffles Hotel where you’ll need to take your food from a buffet spread. At the Pelican, as its a seated Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet, all you need to do is just choose your drinks and food and they will be served right up to you! What a way to enjoy a relaxing Sunday Brunch!

Grilled Seafood Plate that includes whole barramundi, baked oysters, squid, baked lobster, tomatoes. Oyster & Prawn Plate with cocktail sauce. We gave the oyster and prawn plate a miss as we were not really in a mood to mix raw and cooked food that day. We loved that the service was prompt. As you can see from the picture above, the Pelican doesn’t skimp on drinks, serving 5 drinks for just the 2 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the free-flow of bubblies at the Pelican as well as the free flow of Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc from the tap!

The Pelican Sunday Champagne Brunch Review: The Verdict

We’ve got to say that the Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Pelican was certainly well worth the value. Seafood selection from the platter was fresh and even the lobsters in the lobster sliders were delectable. So good that we had seconds and thirds and…
Other than the sliders (both lobster and beef were great), the NY Sirloin Steak was flavourful and paired well with the red wine. Crab cakes were choke full of delicious crab meat. Beef cheeks were tender to taste. In fact, we didn’t “dislike” any item that we ordered. Even the onion rings were the real deal 😉

Sipping drinks along the Marina Bay on a lazy Sunday afternoon was another experience altogether. Coupled with the prompt service of refills, passer-by looked on in envy as we nibbled and sipped the afternoon away…

The only gripe we had was that a fly somehow decided to go for a bath in our red wine for its lazy Sunday afternoon dip…

But that issue was quickly resolved with 2 more glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco…only at the Pelican Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet! Thanks bearbear!
