This view taken from the room of Intercontinental Hotel Warsaw shows the aerial view of the entire old city of Warsaw. You may not believe it, but most of the original old city was destroyed during and post World War 2. Hence, most of what we see today is actually a “rebuilt old city” altogether. Meticulous huh?

  1. Greetings from Warsaw! Interesting post, but I wouldn’t include staying at the Hilton as one of the top attractions in the city! πŸ˜‰ How about the museums? Did you go to the Warsaw Uprising Museum, Chopin or the Pawiak Prison Museum? They are all great for different reasons!

There are tons of things to do in Warsaw, including checking out the various neighborhoods such as Praga or Powisle. And Folk Gospoda is one of our fav restaurants to take our visitors to in Warsaw – good, homemade food every time!
