The claypot rice here is definitely one of the top places to go in Singapore. However, the catch is that you’ll have to wait for AT LEAST 25 minutes for your freshly made and piping hot claypot rice. We waited for about 30 minutes on a week day afternoon without much crowd. Remember to order just a small portion, good for 2 to share.

3. Geylang Lorong 9 Beef Kway Teow (九港牛河)

What we love about Geylang Lorong 9’s beef kway teow is the texture of the hor fun itself. “Taong” with hints of “wok hei” (slight charred taste). Beef is of course tender. A perfect combination for a great tasting beef hor fun!
