About InterContinental Singapore
InterContinental Singapore is located at 80 Middle Rd, Singapore 188966, right about Bugis Junction. This makes it easy to just head downstairs to shop, munch or even catch a late night movie. Right across the road, there’s Bugis Shopping Street as well!
This time, we decided to stay at the King Bed with Club Lounge Access. Just before check in, we dined at Seng Huat Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles just across the street…
We were rather surprised that we were able to get a bowl of noodles for $4 in the heart of the city. This was quite a steal. Right across from InterContinental Singapore no less. Soon, it was time to check-in for our staycation at InterContinental Singapore!

InterContinental Singapore Club King Room Review
Upon entry into the lobby of InterContinental Singapore, we were seemingly transported into another world. The lobby exuded a classy vibe while the fragrance of high-end hotels lingered. After a smooth check-in, we took the lift to our King Bed Club Lounge Room…
Safe Management Measures were still in force during our stay but the requirements should be removed after the easing of measures on 26 April 2022. We also saw the Club Room Benefits…
Club Rooms at InterContinental Singapore includes :
– Breakfast from 7am to 11am
– Afternoon Tea from 2pm to 4pm
– Evening Cocktails from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
– 25% discount on laundry services
– Priority reservations at our food and beverage outlets
– Complimentary local calls
Before we check out the various benefits, it was time to check out the King Club Room at InterContinental Singapore…
At 38sqm, the room was rather spacious and had all the frills of a 5-star hotel. This includes cable channels, TWG teas, bath tub and a great view. You can even check out the swimming pool – if its too crowded, you can decide to stay in and soak in the bath tub instead 😉
InterContinental Singapore Swimming Pool
As it was still sunny, we headed to the swimming pool to have a quick dip first (in case it turns rainy after tea)…
Although the swimming pool at InterContinental Singapore is not huge, there is a jacuzzi pool, a baby pool and even a pavilion that you can chill at. Perhaps after the easing of measures, the pool bar will once again open. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the swimming pool quite a bit because of open feel to it. It can get rather breezy as well!

The beverage list during evening cocktails was rather extensive. We enjoyed the cocktails (Singapore Sling, Old Fashioned, Tom Collin and Mimosa) as well as the beers and wines. As for the food selection, it was largely ok but we did have quite alot of dumplings. Shiok!
After evening cocktails, it was a tipsy dip at the pool before retiring for the evening…

InterContinental Singapore Breakfast at Ash & Elm
The next morning, breakfast was served at Ash & Elm again…
Breakfast at InterContinental Singapore was extensive. There was the typical western selection of sausages, hash browns, bacon and omelet as well as Indian and Asian cuisine of prata, bee hoon, dim sum and congee. Hopefully after the measures eased, you’ll be able to have the “buffet experience” and pick out the food you want yourself!
After another morning stroll at Bugis Street, we headed back for our gym session…
Access to the gym is via the swimming pool area. There, you’ll find a door that leads down a flight of stairs to the gym…
The gym at InterContinental Singapore is quite extensive. There are treadmills, free weights and even an open space – perfect for those yoga sessions. Gym towels and water are available within the gym as well. Also, within the gym, you can enjoy a sauna and shower facilities…
Before we left, we took another shot of the swimming pool area of InterContinental Singapore…
