One of the main difference of dining here at Kaveri Indian Vegetarian vis-a-vis a airport lounge is that it offers a set meal. Unlike experiences at a typical lounge, there is no top-up of drinks or food at a buffet counter. This is also why Priority Pass adds a caveat for those who want to try it out, to make sure that it is of value to you.
What We Think About Kaveri Indian Vegetarian Priority Pass access at Changi Airport Terminal 2
The Priority Pass menu at Kaveri Indian Vegetarian has 3 options of
Combo 1
Special Masala Dosa + 1 vada + 1 idly + Pongal
Combo 2
Chole Bhatura + 1 vada + 1 idly + Pongal
Combo 3
Thali meal – vege (served with raita & papad) + naan
Desserts of the day
All three combos come with a choice of lassi (mango/sweet/salted) or Masala Tea/Bru Coffee
This time, we went with combo 1 with the special masala dosa…
Let’s talk a little bit about the food itself. Having tried the Special Masala Dosa from Kaveri Indian Vegetarian, we must say that its is actually VERY GOOD. Despite being a vegetarian dish, the masala had fragrant spices added that elevated the tastes of the potatoes in the masala. One more special ingredient? Cheese! There was even a “cheese pull” when we cut up the dosa into smaller portions. It tasted like an Indian pizza dosa which was a first for us.
The mango lassi was excellent as well. It was rich, sweet and had the whole mango flavour. By itself, it could be a very nice dessert.
As for the portion of the entire combo, it was HUGE. Definitely not meant for 1 person to finish everything. Even though we are admittedly “big eaters”, we struggled to finish a portion of the entire combo.

However, if we were to take a look at the value of the meal when comparing against how much it would cost if we were purchase it. The entire cost of the meal would cost about ~$25 SGD. This is in comparison to a typical cost of Priority Pass at $32 USD (or ~$42 SGD). This means that if you’re paying for the full costs of a Priority Pass, it is definitely not worth it to visit Kaveri Indian Vegetarian via Priority Pass. However, if you have either an unlimited Priority Pass access or that it is coming to the end of the year and you have un-utilised Priority Passes, then visiting Kaveri Indian Vegetarian restaurant at Changi Airport Terminal 2 could be an option for you. We do think that Kaveri Indian Vegetarian restaurant offers up quality vegetarian food which are indeed rather delicious.
So, do weigh your options before using your next Priority Pass at Kaveri Indian Vegetarian. If you have visited Kaveri Indian Vegetarian restaurant via Priority Pass, let us know more about your experience in the comments section below as well!
