Arteastiq DePatio is a European food concept in Plaza Singapura which we unexpectedly stumbled upon. In this review of Arteastiq DePatio, we’ll share about the excellent ambience within, the amazing food as well as the view that it affords!
About Arteastiq DePatio Plaza Singapura
Located at the third level of Plaza Singapura, Arteastiq DePatio serves up European Street-style food that includes Pancetta Roast Pork Belly (fusion of German and Italian) as well as Gemelli Parmigiana (traditional Italian cheese eggplant spaghetti). What attracted us was also its location, at the corner of the level (offering exclusivity), with unblocked views all the way to Marina Bay! Plus, a specially constructed pizza oven always show that the pizza standards would be above the usual. Lastly, we were told to queue via its in-house app, which is usually a good sign – business is brisk…
After browsing through the menu, we decided to go with Burrata Parma Ham Margherita Pizza ($29), Pancetta Pork Belly ($13), Paccheri Pasta ($16), Canoli Crepe ($13) with Champagne Vanilla and Cointreau Bitter Chocolate Ice Cream as well as a bottle of Cornerstone Sauvignon Blanc ($30)
Arteastiq DePatio Plaza Singapura Review – What We Ate
Our meal started with the Pancetta Pork Belly…
Priced at $13, the Pancetta Roast Pork Belly is served with sauerkraut (German pickled cabbage) as well as mustard with herbs and spices. Given the portion that was served, the price was rather decent. Moreover, the taste was excellent. The roast pork was tender and juicy. Above all, the skin was still cackling on each bite. Highly recommended! Yum!
Next up the Cornerstone Sauvignon Blanc…
Priced at $30 per bottle, the Cornerstone Sauvignon Blanc was priced pretty close to retail value. In fact, a quick search shows that a few online retails are selling at the same price! Definitely good news for those who enjoy a little wine with the dine! 😁
Soon it was time for the Burrata Parma Ham Margherita Pizza…
Just by the look of the pizza, we knew that it was gonna be good. It had an artisanal look and feel with fresh ingredients overlayed. For such pizzas, you know you’ve hit the jackpot for Italian pizza authenticity. We thoroughly enjoyed the tomato base which was fresh, not tangy – unlike those artificial ones. Together with the Parma Ham and a generous scoop of Burrata cheese, the taste was just superb. The fresh basil, rocket leaves and mozzarella cheese just added to the authentic taste of Mediterranean flavour. Another recommended dish from Arteastiq DePatio!
As for pasta, we chose the Paccheri…
At this point, we’re really starting to think that Arteastiq DePatio is an Italian restaurant. The Paccheri was sooo goood! The pasta had the al dente bite to it and reminded us of just how freshly-made pasta should be. The chorizo sausage and spinach acted as little accompaniment to the dish which was already excellent with just the brown butter sauce and pasta. The only downside to the dish was its price – $16. Still, if we had a craving for authentic Italian pizza, Arteastiq DePatio would definitely rank highly on our list!
To end off the meal, we went with the Cannoli Crepe…
The Cannoli Crepe comes with Chantilly cream, berries compote, chocolate sauce and two choices of gelato which we chose Cointreau Bitter Chocolate and Champagne Vanilla. These gelato were AMAZING! Though, we were looking more forward to the “Cannoli” and not the “Crepe” experience. Nonetheless, those homemade italian gelato were just AMAAAAZING! 🤤
