Arteastiq at Jewel Changi Airport was where we headed to this week. Previously, we had a great time at Arteastiq DePatio Plaza Singapura as well. From the menu we saw online, we were intrigued by the selection of food Arteastiq at Jewel offered. Of course, the Jewel “air-conditioned al fresco” setting also elevated the dining experience altogether. If you’re in the miles game, you’ll also be happy to know that Arteastiq currently offers at 9x miles per dollar spent via the Kris+ app. With all these perks of dining at Arteastiq Jewel, we decided to head over to Changi airport to check out the premise…
About Arteastiq Jewel Changi Airport
Arteastiq at Jewel is located at level 5 of Jewel Changi Airport where you’ll be able to enjoy your meals in an “air-conditioned al fresco” setting. This is because while Jewel is air-conditioned, there are glass panels that allows natural light to come through. Hence, dining at Arteastiq @ Jewel offers a different dining experience altogether.
While browsing through the menu, we saw the introduction to Arteastiq as follows:
“The Arteastiq brand was inspired by Singapore’s history – the ruling and dissolving of the British colony, the merger with Malaysia and Singapore’s independence in 1965.
The massive inbound migration of different ethnicities during Singapore’s nation-building period has greatly influenced its modern culture.
Amongst the immigrants, is the Teo family – Descendants from historical Chao Zhou prefecture in the eastern Guang Dong province who speak the Teow Chew dialect. Chao Zhou is recognised by some as the “Capital” of Gong Fu Tea, a traditional tea cermony involving the preparation and presentation of tea.
The youngest son in the Teo family was exposed to the ceremony of Gong Fu Tea at a young age. He recalled a serendipitous incident in his childhood, where the lychee fruit he consumed was accidentally brewed together with Oolong tea. The refreshingly sweet and woody taste of that tea left a deep impression on him. This inspired him to recreate that taste and aroma, giving birth to the Jewel of Tea, Arteastiq’s signature Lychee Oolong Tea.
Journey through Southeast Asia with Arteastiq’s all-day dining menu. Rich in history and bold Asian flavours, our dishes evoke comforting nostalgia. Ignite marvel within the palate with a blend of diverse ingredients and spices. Paired with our collection of specialty teas, get ready for a gastronomic experience to remember!”
This is perhaps also why we found such a wide range of cuisine on Arteastiq’s menu…
Arteastiq Jewel Changi Airport Menu
The cool thing about dining at Arteastiq @ Jewel is the extensive variety that it offers. You’ll be able to find small bites to share, salads for the health conscious, seafood and meats for the big eaters. Also, for wine lovers, you’ll be happy to find the Cornerstone wine bottles retailing at $35 each – a slight increase from our last visit to Arteastiq DePatio Plaza Singapura – which served cuisine in the European-style concept.
What We Had at Arteastiq Jewel Changi Airport
We started off with a bottle of Cornerstone Sauvignon Blanc ($35) – wondering if it was a winery started by Christians…🤔 After browsing through the menu, we decided to go with
Blue Crab Cake of Atlantic Coast
Crab cakes on toasted English muffins with sous vide egg, bearnaise sauce, smoked paprika and asparagus.
Boston Love Boat Cioppino
Medley of baby octopus, salmon, scallop and prawns in claypot, baked en feuillantine and served with arugula.
We were actually surprised by the Blue Crab Cake of Atlantic Coast. We wondered whether the crab cake would be stale or worst, have a “fish” odour. To our surprise, the crab cake came out very well prepared. The outer layer was crisp and the crab cake within was meaty, not mixed with loads of vegetables – unlike some we’ve tried. Coupled with the “almost” flowy egg yolk, the entire dish came together perfectly. Arugula added a touch of class and nutrition to this dish.
As for the Boston Love Boat Cioppino, although it is definitely not as good as the Cioppinos we’ve had in San Francisco, they certainly held their own. The tomatoes were tantalising and refreshing while the seafood were fresh (or possible frozen fresh). The only thing that we had to pick on was that for $30++, the ingredients were actually “meagre”. Increasing a couple more scallops, prawns and baby octopus would certainly make this dish a really satisfying one. Lastly, we totally enjoyed the crusty bread that covered the Cioppino. Excellent texture and taste, perfect when paired with the Cioppino sauce as its dip.

All in all, we found great value while dining at Arteastiq Jewel Changi Airport. The food was delicious and we were able to have affordable wines to go with. Of course, the glass roof setting at Jewel Changi Airport, elevated the overall dining experience. We’d probably be back again to try out the Angus Beef.
