Before we booked our stay at Atlantis Dubai, we had so many questions ranging from booking at the best rates to questions on how to maximise our stay here. In this post, we’ll cover EVERYTHING, you need to know about Atlantis Dubai so that you can thoroughly kick back and enjoy your stay!

When is the Best Time to Visit Atlantis Dubai?
The best months to visit Dubai are the winter months from November to April. However, the rooms at Atlantis Dubai during these months are usually the most expensive as well. You may also think that if its “winter”, wouldn’t the pool and Aquaventure park be too cold? Well, during these months, the parks and pools do stay open and the daytime temperatures reaches a balmy 25 degrees. Moreover, the swimming pools at Atlantis Dubai are heated as well. No worries about having pools that are too cold that you won’t be able to enter.
There is one month however, visitors should avoid. That is the months of April to June (the one month period varies slightly each year) when Ramadan takes place. Fasting takes place during these months. Visitors will find it rather inconvenient as some shops and restaurants remain closed until the fast breaks.
For the bargain hunters, the summer months would also be a great time. That is, if you do not mind the scorching >40 degrees heat from the sun. Some people love it as they dip in the waters of Aquaventure in Atlantis Dubai. Others find the heat too intense. Many have advised wearing of aqua boots as the floor would be too hot for the bare foot to handle at the water park. As the temperatures rise, room prices at Atlantis Dubai starts to dip…
We chose to visit in January where the temperatures were really nice (16 to 25 degrees) and the pools were indeed heated as they say. During the day, it was still hot at Aquaventure. So we really can’t imagine how it would be in the summer months.
How to get the BEST Rates at Atlantis The Palm Dubai
No matter what months you choose, we’ll share how we got the best rates while staying at Atlantis Dubai. We surfed across various websites such as Expedia, Priceline, Booking, Hotels and also Agoda. We found that Booking and Agoda have the best rates.
However, our initial booking of the Imperial Club King Room at ~$990SGD ($782 + taxes) was still very expensive. Hence, we turned to Atlantis Dubai’s own website and we found…
We found that Booking and Agoda’s rates were exactly the same as Atlantis Dubai’s website. EXCEPT that if you signed up as members, you’d get an additional 10% discount.
Nonetheless, we continued to monitor Agoda’s prices and eventually found a lowered price of $750 ($618 + taxes), which Agoda honoured. Although this price was about $80 bucks more than what we would have gotten on Atlantis’ website, we were still glad that we were able to combine the BPG and our 7x miles to get the best of both worlds. Nonetheless, for the best price at Atlantis Dubai, direct booking would offer the lowest rates.

(Value: $100 SGD)
If you do a quick search on Uber or Careem ride-hailing apps, you’ll notice that transfer for one direction from the airport to Atlantis Dubai (and vice versa), is at least $50. The return trip would thus save you at least $100. The shuttle provided (as you can see from the picture) is HUGE. You can really stretch out in comfort as you arrive in style.
Complimentary Breakfasts, Afternoon Tea and Evening Drinks/Canapes at Imperial Club Lounge of Atlantis Dubai
(Value: $350 SGD)
Meals at Atlantis Dubai are EXPENSIVE. Alcoholic drinks even more so. With an almost all-inclusive stay, you’ll be free of these additional costs – that can very quickly add up. If you’re staying at Atlantis Dubai with access to the Imperial Club Lounge, you’ll be able to enjoy breakfasts at Kaleidoscope, Saffron or the Imperial Club Lounge itself. As we arrived at Atlantis Dubai before 7am, we were offered to join for breakfast on the day of our arrival. This meant that we had 2 breakfasts with one night of stay at Atlantis Dubai. Cool! Breakfasts at Atlantis Dubai are valued at $50 per pax.
Though lunch is not included, there is a rather extensive afternoon tea time from 2pm to 4pm. Inclusive with Imperial Club Lounge access. We value this at $25 per pax.
We thoroughly enjoyed the prompt service and drinks at Atlantis Dubai’s Imperial Club Lounge during evening drinks and canapes from 5pm to 7pm daily. The cocktails and draft beers were great. We value this at $50 per pax.
Complimentary Entry to Aquaventure
(Value: $280 SGD)
With every booking at Atlantis Dubai, guests have complimentary access to Aquaventure. Entrance fee costs $140 per pax. Moreover, Atlantis Dubai guests can enter Aquaventure on the day of check-in and on the day of check-out and of course multiple re-entries in between. This means that the value is actually way more than $280 but we’ll value it as a day pass.
Complimentary Entry to The Lost Chambers Aquarium
(Value: $80 SGD)
With every booking at Atlantis the Palm Dubai, guest shave complimentary access to The Lost Chambers Aquarium Entrance fee costs $40 per pax. As with Aquaventure, you can have multiple access throughout your stay.
Fringe Benefits of Imperial Club Lounge Members
Since we purchased the room at $750, deducting the above, the room itself is…FREE! 🤓
But that’s not all. There are other fringe benefits that are usually not considered:
Unlimited servings of drinks and water. Anytime you need a drink, just pop into the Imperial Club Lounge and you can grab a mineral water or a cuppa (think lattes and cappuccinos).
Easy Access to Aquaventure Waterpark. There’s also another fringe benefit that is often overlooked. That is, Imperial Club Members are housed at the East Tower which has the shortest walk to Aquaventure. Yes, you can walk over in less than 10 minutes! Imagine if you’re staying at West Tower, that would add another 10 minutes to your walk time. Of course, as with all guests at Atlantis Dubai, you’ll be able to enter Aquaventure 1 hour earlier, get your wristbands before hand (at the activities counter opposite Imperial Club Lounge) and have a private access to Aquaventure (skip the queues!). Towels are also complimentary for hotel guests!
Mutiple Re-Entry on Check-In/Check-Out Days. As guests of Atlantis Dubai, you’ll be able to have multiple re-entry into Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium. This gives guests the flexibility to enter and leave the premise as they wish. For instance, after our meals, we would stroll pass The Lost Chambers and just pop in for a quick visit before going about our itinerary for the day.
After all the discussion above, we HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Imperial Club Rooms at Atlantis The Palm Dubai during your next stay here. As for the full board, half board options? We thought they would take away too much “play” time. Plus, they’re not cheap. Hence, they’re not considered in this review. We’ve also read many reviews that do not value these options well. Review of Atlantis The Palm Dubai Imperial Club King Room
As we’ve mentioned earlier, Imperial Club Rooms are located at the East Tower of Atlantis Dubai. This means that you will have easy access to the Imperial Club Lounge (at the ground level of East Tower) as well as having the shortest walk to Aquaventure.
We were thankful to the staff at Atlantis Dubai for giving us our room at 6:30am in the morning. This meant that we were checked in almost 9 hours before the official check-in time of 3pm. While we were checking in, we were also invited to enjoy breakfast at the Imperial Club Lounge which starts at 7am daily. This meant that we had an “additional breakfast” on the house! Cool!
Upon entry into the Imperial Club King Room of Atlantis Dubai, we were immediately wowed by the “lux” that were sprinkled across the room. From the classy glasswares (which matches the whole underwater theme) to the illy capsules and in-house bathroom amenities. No details were spared. We were particularly impressed by the bronze/copper-toned backsplash elegantly laid in the bathroom….
Speaking of bathrooms, we love the bath tub at Atlantis Dubai. It is HUGE! Plus, you can open up the segregation which allows you to watch TV while taking a soak or simply peer out for the ocean views…
As we ventured to the living area, we saw this…
We were given a complimentary Atlantis Dubai Beach Bag that retails for ~$20USD. It comes in a nice shade of blue as well. Kate then subsequently remarked that we should have asked for two single beds, instead of the King bed. Perhaps we would have gotten 2 beach bags? 😅
The only real downside to the room was the limited sea view that we had…
The reason is mainly because there was some upgrading going on at Atlantis Dubai. Hence, our views were “thwarted” by wire ropes right outside our window. We could have asked for the upgrade for the Imperial Club King Palm View and see where that went. However, we would have risked not getting the room that early. Hence, we were still pretty pleased with the choice and the room overall.

Imperial Club Lounge Atlantis Dubai: The Complete Review
Since Imperial Club Lounge is located at ground floor of the East Tower at Atlantis Dubai, you’ll just have to take a left turn when you exit the lift and you’ll arrive at the entrance of the Imperial Club Lounge.
Depending on the time of the day, you’ll be verified by the staff at the entrance (or within the lounge) to ensure that you are a guest at one of the Imperial Club Lounge Rooms. Once in, you’ll walk pass an elegant walkway, passing by the Welcome Lounge and more Club Lounge seats before arriving at the bar counter decorated with an impressive chandelier…
There are seats on the second level as well as outdoor seats, perfect for the sunset cocktails. At the Imperial Club Lounge, there are drinks (water, juice, coffee) as well as light snacks (fruits/biscuits/cakes) served throughout the day. The meals included with Imperial Club Lounge are
Breakfast: 0700 to 1100hrs
Afternoon Tea: 1400 to 1600hrs
Evening Drinks & Canape (Sunset Cocktails): 1700 to 1900hrs

For breakfasts, you can choose to dine at the Imperial Club Lounge itself, Saffron Restaurant or Kaleidoscope Restaurant. On our first day, we had breakfast at the Imperial Club Lounge…
If you are satisfied with a general western selection for breakfast, Imperial Club Lounge would be the place for you. Plus, coffee (latte & cappuccino) is slightly better at Imperial Club Lounge.
But if you’re looking for a selection of international buffet for breakfast, Saffron or Kaleidoscope would be the place to check out. According to reviews, both offers selection that meets international tastes, ranging from Asian to Western. But the “famed” chocolate fondue is found only at Saffron. Hence, on the second day of our breakfast, we chose to dine at Saffron Restaurant of Atlantis Dubai…
Breakfast at Saffron Restaurant (Option for Guests at Imperial Club Lounge)
As you can see from the photos, the selection at Saffron restaurant is soooooo extensive. There’s Chinese, Southeast Asian, India, Korean, Japanese and Western all rolled into this amazing buffet. The premise is also HUGE. The different buffet selections are spread all throughout the restaurant. You’ll have to really go explore to find all the nooks and crannies where all the food are planted. It was fun to dine here and here’s what we had…
Afternoon Tea at Imperial Club Lounge Atlantis The Palm Dubai
Afternoon Tea at Imperial Club Lounge is served from 1400 to 1600hrs daily. When we came back from Aquaventure and entered the premise at about 2:15pm, we were shocked at the queues for the sandwiches and canapes. But here’s a secret. You should head on up to level 2 where the food served is exactly the same and there’s a much smaller crowd.
What we love about afternoon tea has absolutely got to be the dips! There’s guacamole, garlic and salsa which went really well with the different bread sticks and biscuits available. Love the cooling cucumber drink as well!
Evening Drinks and Canapes at Imperial Club Lounge Atlantis The Palm Dubai
Evening cocktails and canapes at Atlantis Dubai’s Imperial Club Lounge takes place from 5pm to 7pm daily.
To start things off, PLS PLS PLS head to level 2 and grab the corner seat with the sea view. 5 minutes before 5pm would be good enough. That is unless, this post becomes so popular and EVERYONE knows the secret – then you’d probably have to be 7 minutes earlier.
After we were seated at our favourite seat for evening cocktails and canape at Imperial Club Lounge of Atlantis Dubai, we were promptly given the Imperial Club Lounge Happy Hour Menu. We ordered Sundowner and Island Breeze and left to check out the canapes…
To be honest, the evening canapes were really what was served during the afternoon tea. The only difference was probably the fried meat item. One would have thought that evening canapes would be slightly better to go along with the wines, beers and spirits. Nonetheless, we were happily surprised with the prompt service and drinks (with actual bartender) that were served…
The signature cocktails were fantastic. Even before we finished, the server had our glasses refilled with the same drinks – without knowing that we wanted to try all of it. Hence, we probably had 10 servings of drinks during that evening. Draft beer and wines were decent as well. All accompanied by a beautiful sunset in the horizon…

Review of Things to do and Attractions at Atlantis The Palm Dubai
There are many things to do and attractions at Atlantis The Palm Dubai. These includes Aquaventure Waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, Sea Lion Point and Dolphin Bay. There’s even opportunities for underwater trekking inside the shark safari, watersports as well as zipline adventures! In this segment, we’ll cover Aquaventure, The Lost Chambers as well as some of the world-class dining options available…
Aquaventure Waterpark
There are many zones with Aquaventure including Splashers (for the kids), Tower of Nepture and Tower of Poseidon. There’s also a lazy river that takes 45 minutes to complete! Also, it’s a not-so-lazy river…that includes torrents (high waves) and rapids! There are several tips that we would like to share for your trip to Aquaventure
Tip #1: Be Early. Guests of Atlantis Dubai can enter Aquaventure an hour earlier. Hence, we’d usually stroll over to the activities counter and grab our wrist bands at 9am. By the time external guests enter Aquaventure, we would have gotten the choice seats and several turns on our favourite rides.
Tip #2: Make Use of Hotel Guest Privileges. There are 2 separate entries for hotel guests into Aquaventure. You can skip the queue by entering at the separate entry on the right side that says “Hotel Guest Entry” OR you could take the shuttle bus next to the hotel that brings you direct into the park itself. Also, as guests of Atlantis Dubai, you’ll be able to get complimentary towels. We’d usually get 2 each and lay them on our deck chairs to have a comfy setup for the rest of the day.
Tip #3: Set Up Camp at Entry to Lazy River. We enjoyed our “camp” at the entrance to the Lazy River because of its easy access to toilets, the towel station as well as an awesome view of the Tower of Neptune. You’ll be able to hear shrieks from the Leap of Faith throughout the day! 😛 You’ll also have easy access to the waters and floats if you need them.
As for the rides, we’d strongly recommend Shark Attack. This is because of the leisurely float down the shark tunnel at the end of this ride where you’ll be able to see sting rays and sharks swimming pass you. As for a group ride, we enjoyed Zoomerango where you’ll be speeding up a 14m high wall before ending this ride at an incredible speed. For the dare-devils among you, Leap of Faith and Poseidon’s Revenge are favourites. But definitely not for the faint-hearted. The first time we took the ride? We did not even have time to scream!
The Lost Chambers Aquarium
To be honest, the Lost Chambers Aquarium is not that big. Having been to the SEA Aquarium in Singapore, the Lost Chambers Aquarium also pales in comparison. Nonetheless, it does have some great exhibits within…

You’ll realise that the large fish tank can only be seen outside the aquarium – for free! The exact location can be identified from the video. Nope, you will not be able to see such a large version of the fish tank viewing gallery within the aquarium.
