Seriously, we’ve never thought we would survive a black friday sales that starts shopping from 8pm (on Thanksgiving) to 11am on Black Friday (15 hours of non-stop shopping!). But we did! It’s funny how we all think that you would not survive past 3am but in reality, when the shopping frenzy starts and the adrenaline starts pumping (in search of the best deals), you really never know how well your body adapts – to shopping! :p
Opening Hours during Black Friday Sales at San Francisco Premium Outlets
The address of San Francisco Premium Outlets is 2774 Livermore Outlets Dr, Livermore, CA 94551. During Thanksgiving Thursday, the outlets opened from 6pm onwards. Perfect place to head to after Thanksgiving Dinner. But there’s something that you will need to know…
REAL SALES STARTS AT 12AM!
But then again, even though there are 2000 parking lots, we had to wait about 30 minutes to enter the parking of the outlets and another 30 minutes for a parking lot. At 8pm. Our advice? Plan in advance!
Our Itinerary at San Francisco Premium Outlets during Black Friday Sales
8pm to 12am
Before starting on our shopping frenzy, we headed to the food court to get our dinner first. $10 for Chinese takeout that is good for 2 to share. You’ll also be glad to know that the food court stayed open throughout the Black Friday Sales!
After a hearty meal, Kate and I started queuing at the Tory Burch outlet at about 9pm. Even though it was only slated to open at 12am, there was already a queue that started to form at 5pm! The sales was 40%. Perhaps that’s why…
During Black Friday Sales, you will definitely “need to work in teams”. While our friends kept our spot at Tory Burch, we headed over to Columbia to get our essentials for the Yellowknife (Northern Lights) trip. Before you head over to the premium outlets, be sure to sign up for the VIP deal online. That way, you will have access to additional coupons that can be stacked on top of Black Friday Sales!
At Columbia, the sales were at 50% off and we staked an additional 10% off for the VIP coupons. Cool huh?
12am to 6am
While Kate entered as the first few customers at Tory Burch, Tom headed off to queue at Kate Spade. From the video and pictures that you see above, you’ll realise that the queue was INSANE! Due to a 60% + 20% off handbags during the 12am to 6am timing, the queue took about 30 minutes before you could enter the store. All while waiting in the cold temperatures of about 10 degrees celcius. Remember to suit up!
Senseless shopping then ensued at Coach and Nike (amongst others), all the way till 6am. By the time we entered Tommy Hilfiger, all we saw were the “remnants” of the “war zone”, as seen in the picture above.
6am to 8am
After grabbing ourselves some coffee at Starbucks (which also had insane queues), we headed off to Neiman Marcus.
Neiman Marcus was giving away shopping vouchers to the first 100 shoppers starting from 6am onwards. However, there were only about 20 of us in the queue by the time they opened at 6am. Just before the shop opened, the manager came out with a stack of coupons that ranged from $10 to $1000. Thankfully, we picked a $10 an $100 voucher and that assured our next 2 hours of shopping inside Neiman Marcus 😉
8am to 11am
After a hearty breakfast of burrito at a local joint, we headed over to Target to see if there were additional sales, after the rampage the night before. We saw on the news that people literally sprinted in when the stores opened because the deals included 55″ TVs at $150…
Even though the “door busters” (as they call it) were all finished and that we saw rows of empty shelves at the electronics section, there were still 20% discounts for many items there. We bought a pair of jeans at Target and that concluded our insane 15 hours experience of shopping during Black Friday at San Francisco Premium Outlets!
Thereafter, we headed back to our hotel at Four Points by Sheraton Pleasanton for our well-deserved rest.
After waking up at 4pm, we headed over to Stoneridge Shopping Center to continue our shopping! A befitting end to our Black Friday Sales Shopping at San Francisco Premium Outlets!
