The Colony Seafood Dinner Buffet from Ritz Carlton has got to be one of the best buffets in Singapore. If you’re thinking about the best Sunday Brunches in Singapore, it is right up there as well – although we still reminisce the best Sunday brunch ever at Bar and Billiard Room of Raffles Hotel (not available now). Having done a staycation at Ritz Carlton previously, we know about the amazing service and ambience that the hotel exudes. Likewise, the ambience at the Colony was classy…

Besides the ambience, the other reason that Colony’s seafood dinner buffet is probably one of the best and most value-for-money buffet in Singapore, is because of its free-flow lobsters. Yes, unlimited lobsters for a seafood buffet!
What’s more, each lobster comes with truffled hollandaise sauce to add that extra touch of luxe to the dish. Salivating just at the thought of it…yum! Besides the lobsters, there are many other premium items on the menu as well…
Colony Seafood Dinner Buffet Menu (Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore)
First, you’d be happy to know that the seafood buffet at Colony lasts for 4 hours from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Although we had difficulty ordering drinks after 10pm (fresh juices are included as well!), the duration of the buffet is very decent. What’s more, you might think that a seafood dinner buffet at a classy restaurant such as Colony (inclusive of unlimited lobsters), would cost a bomb. Nope, it costs $102 per pax. A couple of Boston Lobsters downed, and you’re in the black.
We also liked the fact that you can add on the unlimited beverage package at Colony that starts at $42++ for the duration of the buffet as well. This makes Colony’s buffet dinner a great venue for those special celebrations with your loved ones.

What We Had at Colony Seafood Dinner Buffet (Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore)
During our dinner at Colony’s seafood buffet, we unabashedly started with two servings of the Boston Lobster each…
The lobsters were really fresh and we were able to easily remove one whole chunky lobster meat with the fork, as seen in the picture above. The great thing about the free-flow lobsters was that you’d be able to “up the ante” on any other dish. For instance, laksa becomes lobster laksa, pastas become lobster pastas and fried rice becomes lobster fried rice. By the end of the evening, we probably had 3 or 4 lobsters each. 😁
The seafood dinner buffet at Colony had a rather good selection of seafood that ranged from oysters to crab legs, fresh succulent prawns, lobsters and of course a nice selection of sashimi. You could even mix and match these with pasta as we did.

From the grill and meats section, we enjoyed the beef rib and barramundi – which was pan seared to perfection. If you’d like to start off with a soup, the Bouillabaise had chock full of prawns scallop and other seafood selection in the generous serving.
For pasta, we opted for the Seafood Aglio Olio as well as the Tagliatelle. Both were pretty good. Remember to order two portions of lobster to jazz up the pastas as well!
The local selection at Colony’s Seafood Dinner Buffet was very good as well. You must not miss the Colony Laksa that comes with its very own homemade lobster ball. Such a bouncy texture on each bite! Of course, we added lobsters to the dish as well. Delish!
For desserts, we tried the mango pudding, chestnut pot, tiramisu, lychee rose and red bean coconut crumble. We particularly enjoyed the mango pudding and the classic tiramisu this time. Unfortunately, we missed out on the juices which included apple, mango, orange, pineapple and pink guava. If you’ve tried those, do let us (and our readers) know if they’re fresh juices or chilled ones in the comments section below.
Prosecco and draft beers flowed freely for the evening. According to the menu, white and red wines from Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) were included as well. However, we did not try them as we were pretty much stuffed with the onslaught of delicious foods, flavours and lobsters this evening. If you have tried the wines from the beverage packages, do let us know what you think as well.
