Eggslut Singapore is located at Scotts Square and is currently the only Eggslut in Singapore. Eggslut is a gourmet food concept founded in 2011, centred around its key ingredient – eggs. Eggslut started in USA and now has outlets in Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, London and even Kuwait! When it first started in Singapore, it arrived with much fanfare and the waits were rather long. Hence, we decided to only review Eggslut Singapore recently, at an off-peak hour of 8pm so that the wait would be much shorter. True enough, we waited less than 10 minutes and were able to enter the premise…
Inside Eggslut Singapore Scotts Square
Once inside, you’ll be greeted by the counters where you’ll place your orders, much like a fast food restaurant. Behind which, you’ll be able to see the chefs at work via the open kitchen. Here’s the menu at Eggslut Singapore…
This time, we had the Fairfax ($12) with an additional patty for $4. The Double Cheeseburger ($17), the Truffle Hashbrowns ($4.5), Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.5) and the Grapefruit & Ginger Craft Soda ($4.5) – a tie up between Brewlander x Eggslut. The prices are inclusive of taxes so our total bill came up to $45.50…
While waiting for our food, we found that there’s a small little corner where you can purchase Eggslut souvenirs as well. Wonder how popular these keychains and magnets are…🤔
The interior of the restaurant is actually quite spacious. Like the industrial-style vibe that is chic and still rather casual. We sat down and waited for our buzzer to ring for us to collect our food and drinks. Meantime, we found that there was an ongoing collaboration between Veuve Clicquot and Eggslut where you can enjoy a glass of the Yellow Label Champagne for $18. Talk about champagne brunches…
Eggslut Singapore Review: Fairfax Sandwich, Double Cheeseburger & Truffle Hashbrowns
Before long, our buzzer cued us to collect our drink – the Grapefruit & Ginger soda…
The Grapefruit & Ginger craft soda is a collaboration between Brewlander x Eggslut. The taste was refreshing aided by the carbonation within. You can taste the unique grapefruit and ginger tastes. Though it was a tad on the sweet side, we enjoyed the beverage with our meal of Fairfax Sandwich and Double Cheeseburger…
First up, the Fairfax Sandwich…
The Fairfax Sandwich comes with a description of “cage-free soft scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun“. If you’re dining at Eggslut, you definitely CANNOT miss the Fairfax Sandwich. As you can see from the pictures above, the scrambled eggs are rather generous and when you take a bite into it, IT IS SO FLUFFY! 😲😋 The savoury, moist and fragrant (not sure why we’re using this word but it sure was!) scrambled eggs went so well with the patty and brioche bun. Oh, the brioche bun! A little oily but oh so sweet! The entire Fairfax Sandwich came together beautifully!
Next, the Double Cheeseburger…
The Cheeseburger at Eggslut has the description of “ground angus beef, cage-free over medium egg, caramelized onions, bread & butter pickles, cheddar cheese, dijonnaise in a warm brioche bun“. We want to say that the ground angus beef tastes different from the additional patty for Fairfax Sandwich, it just hits the spot. Flavourful, meaty patty. Yum! Reminded us of the authentic US burgers that we had in America. (@ Folks of Eggslut, do let us know in the comments section below if the patties are the same).
Of course, the flowy egg yolk made this Double Cheeseburger that much more delectable…
As for the Truffle Hashbrowns, we could taste the truffle within. However, this evening, it was a little over-fried. A little bit too hard and dry. Perhaps the chef was a little off-form this evening…
To end off the meal this evening, we ordered the Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie as desserts. Taste wise, it was rather generous with the chocolate chip. In terms of taste, it had a slight chewy texture and was just the right cookie to finish off the dinner.

It was our first time at Eggslut and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The scrambled eggs of the Fairfax Sandwich was really as good as they say! Moist, fluffy and intense flavours of the scrambled egg came together wonderfully with the brioche sandwich. We’re salivating even as we’re typing this! 🤤 We’d definitely be back again to try out the Gaucho Sandwich ($23) with seared Wagyu tri-tip steak but probably sans the Truffle Hashbrowns. If you’ve tried the Gaucho Sandwich at Eggslut, let us know if it was worth it in the comments section below!
