Engine 15 Brewery and Kitchen is one of over 30 craft beer establishments in Jacksonville Florida! 🤓 During our recent trip to the USA for Klove Cruise 2024, we stopped by Jacksonville to check out craft beer breweries such as Ruby Beach Brewing and Engine 15!
About Engine 15 Brewery Jacksonville Florida
Upon entering Engine 15, we could feel a very friendly local atmosphere within. It was lunch hour and there were some guests sitting on the bar seats, chatting, having a drink and catching the local sport action. We were told by a staff over the counter that we could sit anywhere. She came by with the menu and we were told that we can make the orders at the counter once we’re ready. Here are food and beer menu of Engine 15 Brewery (E15)…
Located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach, Engine 15 Brewery (or simply E15) offers a selection of craft beers, rotating on one of 30 tap lines in the brewery. As a full-fledged restaurant, Engine 15 also offers some excellent bar grubs that goes pretty well with the beers on tap. While browsing the menu, we stumbled upon the Liquid Lunch Menu that is available from Tuesdays to Fridays from 11am to 3pm. If you choose any of the following food items during this period, you’ll get a FREE 15oz DRAFT BEER! 😋
Delicious Eats – Liquid Lunch Menu (Tuesdays to Fridays from 11am to 3pm)
Choose any of the following and get a free 15oz draft beer
1. Italian Saaannnnngwich
2. Beer Brat
3. Brisket Beer Dip
4. B-B-Cuban
5. Turkey Rachel
6. Wrap
7. Greek Salad
In addition, Happy Hours takes place on Mondays to Fridays from 4pm to 7pm where you can get $1 off any regular size draft beer and any item from the snack menu. Not too bad eh?
For our orders, we went with the Italian Saaannnnngwich ($14) and had a complimentary pint of Nut Sack Double Brown Ale (one of the house favourites). Since we were at a craft beer brewery, we decided to try out a flight of beers as well. To order a flight of beers, you will have to go to the counter and grab a flight board (along with a marker). Going through the craft beers at Engine 15 Brewery, we wrote the beer names of
1. Sour “Patch” Sara
2. Captain AHOP
3. The Economically unfeasible Double IPA
4. Feline so Fine
On the flight board. The bartender would fill up the flight according to what you wrote and bring them back. Pretty cool huh? As for pricing, the flight is individually priced. The Sour and Double IPA were priced at $3.25 while the remaining was at $2.5. At 5oz each, it was slightly more expensive but you’ll be able to try out different craft beers at Engine 15 Brewery & Kitchen!
What We Had at Engine 15 Brewery & Kitchen Jacksonville Florida
The Italian Saannnnngwich (or Italian Sandwich) was not too bad. We love the fresh ingredients within as well as the fatty bits from the salami and ham. It was great that it came with a side of pasta salad as well. The macaroni pasta salad was quite appetizing and helped us work up quite an appetite. As for the Nut Sack Double Brown Ale, we found it to be malty, rich with a nice bitter aftertaste. Shiok!
As for the flight of 4 beers, here’s our little review of the 4 craft beers that we chose…
1. Sour “Patch” Sara. A refreshing sour with a slight hint of strawberry.
2. Captain AHOP. This Hazy IPA was Tom’s favourite combining the mild citrusy flavours with the hopiness of an IPA.
3. The Economically unfeasible Double IPA. Super rich funky taste of an IIPA. One you’ll enjoy if you’re a bitter/hoppy IPA fan.
4. Feline so Fine. A sweet/milky stout. It has the slight roasted coffee/chocolaty taste which makes it distinct from ales.
We also “shopped” at the merch corner of Engine 15. Quite cool that they expand to shirts, caps and drink wares for its patrons.

Our total came up to $32 (inclusive of tips). We must say that the Liquid Lunch Menu at Engine 15 is a pretty good deal. The craft beers were excellent as well. Especially enjoyed the IPAs and IIPAs. Thankful for our craft beer education in Hanoi (IKR?) especially at Standing Bar and 7 Bridges where we tried various craft beers and learnt that our favourite was the Hazy IPAs. If you’re in the Jacksonville Beach area and looking for a venue for lunch during weekdays, do hop on by to Engine 15 Brewery for its amazing Liquid Lunch deal!
