After our coffee at G Kim’s, we headed towards Fuji Spa Center near Embassy Garden for our spa session at 11am. From G Kim’s Coffee, we crossed a bridge and witnessed the early morning peak hour rush before reaching the Embassy Garden precinct. There, we stopped by Circle K convenient store for Banh Mi with pate and egg (18k VND – $1SGD) and Doraemon Dorayaki Cake (12k VND – 70 cents SGD)…
Fuji Spa Center Hanoi Review
When it was about time for our massage, we headed towards Fuji Spa Center and were pleasantly surprised by the high-class entrance of its premise. At the entrance, there was also a guard who showed us to the entrance. There, the staff gave us slippers to change out of our shoes before leading us to the waiting area…
Welcome tea, snacks and hot towels followed after shortly…
We had already made reservations prior to our visit. This time, we chose the 100 minutes massage that costs 440k VND per person ($25 SGD), another 100k VND was added as mandatory tips which brought the total bill to about $30 SGD per person, which was relatively affordable. While, we were waiting for the room to be prepared, we chanced upon the packages offered by Fuji Spa Center…
If you take a look at the last line below, it says that if you recharge the card for 20M VND, you’ll only pay 16M VND. Meaning, you’ll pay approximately $900 SGD for a credit of about $1100 SGD. Thereafter, if you use the $1100 to purchase 36 massages, you’ll get another 8 treatments free. That means $900 for 44 treatments, bringing the cost of a 100 min massage to $21 per session! Definitely a great deal for those who are staying in the vicinity!
Soon, it was time for our treatment…
The massage was excellent. We started with head and face massage before lying on our back for shoulder massage. The order of the massage at Fuji Spa Center is slightly different from usual massages that starts with the customer lying on the back. The experience was pleasant and at some points, we drifted in and out of dreamland which was also why we appreciated the masseuse with a little tip. The other unusual part of the massage is that it ends off with elements of acupuncture and some Thai “back cracking”. As we had recently returned from Bangkok, we were relatively “well-cracked” – to the dismay of the masseuse.

As with most massages, we wondered where the time went after the treatment. 100 minutes just flew by in a jiffy. Just as how we begun the treatment, we were given time to change back to our clothes before heading back to the waiting room again. This time, superbly sweet mangoes awaited us…
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our massage at Fuji Spa Center. If we were to be in the vicinity again, we’d definitely drop by for a treatment. Perhaps, this time, we’d request not to have the “cracking” towards the end though. Enjoy!
