Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa is a hotel with condominium facilities located in Orlando, Florida. Just 6 minutes drive away from Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbour Hotel and is a good location to many other amusement parks and attractions in Orlando as well. Thanks to the great folks at Visit Orlando and Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa (big shout-out to Cory & Fernanda), we were hosted to a relaxing stay here!
2 Bedroom Suite @ Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
Before you head over, do take note of the picture above. There are 5 blocks of buildings at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa but the lobby is located at building 4 (photo above). You’ll check in there and it is possible that you’ll be assigned to another building for your stay. In our case, we stayed at the 2 bedroom suite at building 5 which faces the pool. Looooooooooove it!
The first impression we got after entering the room was that IT’S HUGE! There is a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (both with attached TV), 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the Pirates Themed Plunge Pool! The 1080 square feet room can accommodate up to 6 people!
There are several things we enjoyed about the room. Firstly, there’s an attached washer and dryer next to the kitchen which offers an option to have your laundry done on the same day. Secondly, the fully equipped kitchen (we’re talking about plates, knives, cooking pot & pans etc.) allows the family to prepare some breakfast. Alternatively, you can also pop over to the Lani’s Luau Poolside Bar & Grille for a simple breakfast – available at a separate fee. Lastly, the in-room jacuzzi was a plus for us. Not only because of it’s functionality (watching TV while soaking in a bubble bath) but also the modern feel that it brings to the entire room.

Facilities and Amenities at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
There are many facilities and amenities at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa. Here are some of the ones you’d be interested in…
Besides the fitness center and swimming pool, you’ll be able to note that there is a convenience store & gift shop located at Building 1 of the premise. Also at building 1 of Lake Buena Vista Resort, you’ll be able to find the fitness center, games room as well as a Pizza Hut Cafe. Building 3 and 5 faces the Pirate’s Theme Plunge Pool. Next to the pool, you’ll find Lani’s Luau Poolside Bar & Grille, where we got our bagels for breakfast each morning. Simple, but it gets the job done 😉
The Reflections Spa & Salon is a full service European spa located at building 4. We have had many good things about the spa and decided to give it a go. Turns out, the experience was so amazing that we’re dedicating a small section to describe the spa!
Reflections Spa & Salon Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
Reflections Spa – Salon is located at level 6 of building 4 at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa. Here you’ll be able to find full European-style spa services such as massage, facials, mani/pedi, salon and even makeover for the kids!
The makeover rooms for boys and girls was a surprise for us. The boys will be dressed up as pirates while the girls as princesses. Although, from time to time, you’ll get a couple of girls who wants to be dressed up as pirates as well! Argh!
This time, we chose the Tropical Island Massage which promises to be a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. There are 2 separate changing rooms for the men and ladies at Reflections Spa. In the men’s changing room, you’ll be given a locker, within which, a robe and a pair of slippers are prepared for you. Also at the men’s changing room are shower facilities as well as the sauna room.
After changing up, you’ll enter a common waiting area where your masseuse will pick you up and lead you to your treatment room. This time, we were so blessed to have Zujeilly carry out treatment for us.
If it’s possible, pick Zujeilly for your treatment at Reflections Spa, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. Zujeilly is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) which explains why she was so professional throughout the entire treatment. Her strokes were firm and addresses all the problematic areas flawlessly. Each movement of her hand was deliberate, as if it was part of a symphony. Prior to the treatment, all clients had to fill out a form to indicate problematic areas as well as the preferred treatment options. Zujeilly had carefully read all our inputs and devised a treatment specifically to address those naggy pains. In addition, she was careful in moving the towels when we switched positions, so as to maintain the client’s privacy, doing so in such a swift and professional manner. This is unlike some masseuse who may be careless in this aspect. Having done so many treatments around the world, the treatment by Zujeilly has got to be the best we’ve had. Fully relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to hit our next theme park at Orlando!
