What We Had @ Rodizio Do Brazil Churrascaria Clarke Quay
Before we started on our “carnivores-rampage”, we were introduced to these signs on our table…
As the colours suggest, red means that you’re full and do not wish to be served any more meats while green simply means “MORE! MORE! MORE!”. Soon, our first dish was served…the beef rump!
As our passador carved through the beef rump, we could see juices flowing through and also the ease with which the carving was done – signalling really tender cuts! The taste reflected just that…the beef selection was simply superb…
As you can see from this next picture, the juices started to flow unto our plates. Hence, the “not so pretty” shots…but it does show the juiciness of these meats!
We really liked our passador serving us this evening. He allowed us to choose the cuts that we wanted (Tom usually went for the fatty bits) and gave us as many slices as we wanted. Definitely how a churrascaria experience ought to be!
Besides the selection of beef cuts, the other highlight for us were the grilled chicken – both the thigh and the heart. Probably one of the tastiest grilled chicken thigh we’ve had in recent months, the chicken was well marinated and grilled to such perfection. The smokiness was infused into the chicken thigh while the meat itself was “fall-off-the-bone” tender.
We only thought that Chinese would enjoy eating the chicken heart but apparently Brazilians love them too. We were a little amazed to find this item on the menu during our previous visit to a Brazilian Churrascaria. This time, we sort of confirmed that its a staple on Brazilian Churrascaria menus. The version at Rodizio Do Brazil was fresh (no mushiness detected at all) and smoked to perfection.
Nonetheless, there were some misses as well. The lamb leg though tender (with streaks of fats), was a little gamey. Not the best of lambs we’ve tasted. The seafood was also disappointing. The butter fish was dry while the prawn was not fresh (mushy – not succulent). Hence, at Rodizio, it’s still best to stick to the meats.
Rodizio Do Brazil Churrascaria Clarke Quay Review – Final Words
To end of the dinner, we had a cocktail – Paradise. Rodizio Do Brazil actually has a bar and we could see how our cocktail was made from scratch. A little pricey at $14++ but was still a great cocktail nonetheless. In this review of Rodizio Do Brazil Churrascaria & Bar, we showed you all the offerings for its “all-you-can-eat” meats dinner buffet. We really liked the selection of meats, especially all (ALL) the different cuts of beef. With the 50% discount from Eatigo, it is definitely worth a visit for all you meat-lovers out there!
