SilverKris Lounge at Changi Airport Singapore is an airport lounge that we’ve wanted to visit post-COVID. Thanks to SQ’s generous extension of Krisflyer miles through the COVID period, we were able to extend our miles and snag a flight on business class to New Zealand. This also means that we could finally visit the newly revamped Business Class Lounge at SilverKris Lounge Singapore!

Overview of Business Class SilverKris Lounge Changi Airport
The check-in process was a breeze. Soon we received our blue SQ tickets with the invitation to SilverKris Lounge…
There are mainly 4 areas inside the newly-revamped business class SilverKris Lounge; The Quiet Zone, The Living Room, The Dining Hall and the Open Concept Area…

SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport – The Quiet Zone
Once you enter into the Business Class SilverKris Lounge, if you make a right turn, you’ll enter The Quiet Zone…
The Quiet Zone is a great place to find individual seatings and enjoy views of take offs and landings. Not entirely sure how the “quietness” is maintained here but everyone seems to observe the silence rather well in this zone. It could be due to the high ceilings as well as separation between seats? Within this zone, there are also other choices of seats and drinks available…
SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport – The Dining Hall
Heading back towards the entrance (i.e. turn left upon entry to Business Class SilverKris Lounge), you’ll find the reception desk where you can approach for assistance, a row of seats with views of take-off landing as well as KrisShop Gallery. Close to the entrance is our favourite hangout area – The Bar, where baristas serve gourmet coffee in the morning till 10am and bartending services starts at 5:30pm in the evenings…
Walking past the reception desks, you’ll officially arrive at the Dining Hall area where you’ll first be greeted by shelves of fruits and snacks. If you continue walking, you’ll arrive at the main dining area…
The main dining area can be easily identified because it is usually the busiest and is also where you can find the selection of hot foods and live stations…
The Dining Hall is really spacious, classy and more brightly lit as compared to the former SilverKris Lounge. The food selection is also rather extensive. You’ll be able to find asian, dim sum, indian and some western selection. Wines are dispensed by machines. You’ll also be able to find an automated beer dispenser, complete with a perfect head. And of course, there’s the Taittinger Champagne along with a vast selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages…
There were several items that we enjoyed here. Of course, the Taittinger Champagne which retails at about $70 a bottle was a luxurious pour to start off our Business Class experience at SilverKris Lounge…
Our favourites include the Japanese Udon where the chef would fry ala-minute, served up piping hot and deliciously concocted with a little dash of this and that…
The spicy wanton as well as the Gong Pao chicken were pretty good as well. Went for seconds and thirds this evening…
Surprisingly, the chicken nuggets were pretty good. We’d like to think they’re better than McD’s and they’re always so crisp despite just hanging out there at the dining hall waiting to be picked up. Definitely keeps the kids happy 😋
Further down, you’ll enter the Open-Concept Area…
SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport – The Open Concept Area
The Open Concept Area is really an extension of the Dining Hall with more seatings where you can have views over the runways. In the evenings, the sun will set in this direction. Hence, we had our “sunset cocktails” here. This evening, we started with Whiskey Sours and Negroni. The Negroni had freshly peeled orange – citrusy and fresh. Thanks to Carla who, despite the countdown party the night before prepared the drinks so well! Next, it was time to check out the Living Room…
SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport – The Living Room
The Living Room is actually the other area that we enjoyed pretty much. The tall orange seats at the entrance are highly sought-after. And, they’re really comfortable as well. Within this area, you’ll find comfortable seats just like how one would have in their own living room. There are also private seats if you need to catch some shut-eye or get some work done. A little Play Room rounds up the area.
There’s actually another area next to the Open Concept Area that we almost missed out – The Sleeping Zone!
SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport – The Sleeping Zone
For travellers needing to catch some sleep, the Sleeping Zone right at the end of the Open Concept Area is a great place to do so. Inside, there are a number of individual cubicles with reclining seats as well as blankets and eye shades. The only thing is that it is based on a first-come-first-served concept. No booking is required. Wave at the door to enter.

Dinner at SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Changi Airport
For dinner, there was a slight change in menu…
For the dinner menu, we enjoyed the Ayam Masak Merah and Sweet and Sour Fish. Spaghetti and Otah Buns were good as well. Had the SilverKris Sling (which tasted like mimosa) and Singapore Sling to go along.

Shower Facilities at SilverKris Lounge Business Class Singapore Review
Before we left, we showered at the Business Class SilverKris Lounge. It is an individual cubicle with toilet and showering facilities within. After each use, the towels will be replaced and the toilet cleaned so you can be assured of high standards of cleanliness here. Shampoo and body lotion are provided via the dispensers as well. If you’d like to ensure that you’d get a showering slot during peak hours, you can make an advanced booking. Knowing that we would be departing shortly before the boarding the time, we catered about an hour before boarding time to shower and take our last refreshments before strolling over to the boarding gate. A refreshing experience…
We hope you have enjoyed our review of the newly revamped Singapore Changi Airport SilverKris Lounge Business Class!
