1. The Newly Refurbished Club Rooms at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
Really LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE your newly refurbished Club Room at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore, Jen! You’ve really put in much thought into redesigning the whole room haven’t you? From the moment we stepped into the room, we could sense the character and identity it exudes. Fun, energetic and lively!
There’s so much detail in the room as well. We especially love the artistic orchid centre piece and the different textures on the walls used within the room and the bathroom. Made us want to hang out just a little more in the room…
2. Little Surprises within the Club Rooms at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
We were wondering what the “Take-Off” button meant…
But were pleasantly surprised when the bed “lifted off” as we headed to dream land!
Thanks for spoiling us with the fruits and chocolates that you’ve secretly placed in our fridge…
We were also searching high and low for our iron board when we discovered that it was hidden beneath our sofa all along! Clever touch Jen!
Although we didn’t mention it, your staff took note of Kate’s birthday and surprised us with this birthday cake delivered to our door step! That put a smile on our faces 🙂
We could go on about all the little gems in-room such as the hidden reading lights, mounted USB outlets and also speakers…shhh…let’s keep this a secret between us k? 😉
3. Modern Club Lounge with awesome views at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
Unrestricted views as seen from level 17 of Hotel Jen Tanglin greeted us as we entered into the Club Lounge – part of the benefit of staying at the Club Rooms. The modern chic design adds a classy dimension to the newly refurbished Club Lounge. With refreshments available all day long (breakfast from 6:30am to 11am, mid-afternoon culinary treats, cocktail hours from 5pm to 7:30pm and light snacks at all other times), we just wanted to spend our afternoons chilling at the Club Lounge…ahh….
4. Unbelievably well-positioned swimming pool @ Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
Did you know that your swimming pool at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore is able to enjoy direct sunlight throughout the day? It’s because of the orientation of the pool. As the sun rises from the east and sets in the west each day, the pool is able to absorb the heat from the sun throughout the day! Say goodbye to chilly cold pools! You’re a genius Jen!

5. Many things to do in and around @ Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore

Laksa at breakfast was one of the best laksa we’ve had in a while. Loved the “Q” texture of the kway teow (as compared to the usual thick vermicelli) which made the dish that much more special and tasty! Also at breakfast, we noticed something that we have not seen before…TA PAO BAGS! Allowing guests like us to take away something from breakfast for later…Love the idea, Jen!

Because of the excellent location of the hotel, we were able to enjoy Bari-Uma Ramen at the nearby Tanglin Shopping Centre, learn about the history of tourism in Singapore (for free!) at the Singapore Tourism Board next door and also have easy access to the endless shopping options at Orchard Road, just minutes away!
12 at 12 Singapore Local Delights
We love the new menu of 12 at 12 Singapore Local Delights from Ah Hoi’s Kitchen. Only $12 for 12 local dishes at 12pm from Mondays to Fridays! I’ll definitely ask more friends along because the 12th person dines for free!
