Strata Lounge Auckland Airport Priority Pass Review: Spacious with a decent selection of food and drinks

Strata Lounge Auckland Airport Priority Pass Review

Strata Lounge, a Priority Pass lounge, was the first lounge that we visited at Auckland Airport New Zealand. We decided that the Air New Zealand lounge, a complimentary for business class passengers would be a better venue to hang out before our flight. Hence, the plan was to drop by Strata Lounge before Air New Zealand lounge…

Strata Lounge Auckland Airport Review: Ambience

The first impression of the Strata Lounge at Auckland Airport is that it is really spacious. There are different zones inside the lounge for meetings, resting, dining and even viewing of the gallery below. There’s also a kids room with cartoon playing on TV…

Strata Lounge Auckland Airport: Food and Drinks

The food selection at Strata Lounge Auckland Airport is rather good. You’ll be able to find cold selection such as cheeses, salads, sandwiches as well as hot selection such as pasta, chicken and garlic bread…

While the food selection was good, it was a tad disappointing in the taste department (though not as bad as Ambassador Transit Lounge). But, there is still a glimmer of hope. The alcoholic selection is pretty good actually…

We enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc as well as the Steinlager beer. However, for the Speights Gold Medal Ale, it is still better by tap.

Strata Lounge at Auckland Airport is a pretty decent lounge to visit. The venues are welcoming and spacious while the alcoholic selection are rather good – probably because it is a New Zealand lounge, the land of great wines. Although a little disappointing in the food department, we’d still drop by to hang out if time permits while we’re transiting through Auckland Airport.
