TGM is a Priority Pass restaurant that members can visit during their flight or transit via Changi Airport Terminal 2. For the longest time, TGM has been one of our favourite restaurant on the list of restaurants that Priority Pass holders can visit at Changi International Airport. This is because of the excellent food quality such as beef as well as sashimi offerings previously…
This has all unfortunately changed with the latest menu that TGM offers to its Priority Pass holders…
The New Priority Pass TGM Menu at Changi Airport Terminal 2
This is the new Priority Pass TGM Menu at Changi Airport T2…
From the new menu, you can see that the overall approach has changed. Instead of focusing on quality, which are the hallmarks of TGM, quality has been reduced to make way for a partial buffet on the side. We think that because of this, the overall value has dropped slightly but…
In addition to the above, there’s also free flow of desserts including cakes and ice cream. In a sense, with the mini buffet at TGM, TGM is trying to position itself to become more like an airport lounge. You can really chill with the ice cream, cakes and coffee. So it does allow you to remain at TGM more than just the mains itself. However, we think that with this change, there are some major changes as compared to the offerings before…
The New Priority Pass TGM Menu at Changi Airport Terminal 2 – What Has Changed?
So what has changed? Here are a few noticeable differences as we dined at TGM during this visit…
Less Variety for Mains
As compared to the previous TGM menu, it is obvious that the variety has reduced. There used to be a more extensive Japanese and Korean cuisine. Previously, the menu had over 20 choices to choose from. Now, this has been reduced by half to 12 options.
Quality Reduced for Partial Buffet
As mentioned above, a major bummer for us was the removal of the Beef Yakiniku. As you can see from the new menu, beef was noticeably missing. Also, instead of the sashimi selection that includes Tuna and Mekajiki (Swordfish) on top of salmon, the new menu only has salmon sashimi. Nonetheless, there were still some options that we’d like to try out in the future, Dak-Galbi and Truffle Scrambled Egg Unagi Don.

We can actually see why TGM has changed its concept altogether. Reducing the variety and thus ingredients required to prepare the previous menu of over 20 items. The savings has been transferred to the mini buffet that now puts TGM in a better position to compete against the Priority Pass Lounges at Changi Airport. However, without free-flow alcoholic options, it would be pretty difficult for TGM to compete with the likes of SATS Premier Lounge and Marhaba Lounge which offers hard liquor, wines and beers on top of a good buffet selection.
With the new concept, TGM can no longer compete on quality food like before but is also not quite able to compete with the offerings of full fledge airport lounges at Changi Airport. Hence, it remains to be seen if the new concept and new menu at TGM Changi T2 will pay off.
