[Updated January 2024]

When it comes to visiting Priority Pass Lounges at Singapore Changi Airport, one of the most common question we’ve received is

Which is the Best Priority Pass Lounge in Singapore?” or
Which Priority Pass Lounge should we visit at Singapore Changi Airport?

The answer? It really depends what you’re looking for in an airport lounge. Is it food? Is it the ambience? Is it the business functions or simply a place to nap?

Fret not!

In this review, we’ve checked out all the Priority Pass Lounges at Singapore Changi International Airport (well…except the newly launched landside lounge at Jewel) to give you the most comprehensive review yet of what you need to know if you’re visiting a Priority Pass Lounge in Singapore!

But before we dive into the post proper, let’s cover some basics about Priority Pass…

What is the deal with Priority Pass Lounge Access?

Priority Pass is an airport lounge access programme that allows pass holders to access over 1200 airport lounges worldwide. Without flying on premium cabin classes (i.e. business or first class), a Priority Pass holder can still enjoy tranquility, service, space and comfort before your next flight out of the airport.

The next question you may ask is

How do I become a Priority Pass member?

There are currently 3 tiers of membership offered by Priority Pass namely;

1. Standard (Annual Fee: USD $99): Member visit fee: US$32
Guest visit fee: US$32

2. Standard Plus (Annual Fee: USD $299): 10 FREE visits, then US$32
Guest visit fee: US$32

3. Prestige (Annual Fee: USD $429): Member visits: ALL FREE
Guest visit fee: US$32

If you have followed our post on the Best Travel Credit Cards in Singapore, you would also have known that there are currently a couple of credit cards such as DBS Altitude and Citi Premiermiles that comes with a couple of annual Priority Passes.

There are also a couple of higher end credit cards such as the Citi Prestige that comes with unlimited Priority Pass access for you and a guest – that’s an even better deal than the Prestige membership offered by Priority Pass itself! :O

Once you’ve registered with Priority Pass, you’ll be accorded a membership number and a membership card that would be mailed to you. With the membership number, you can download and access the Priority Pass app. We like the app because it gives you the latest updates to lounges at your airport (sometimes it is even more updated than the website itself). Also, it comes with a nifty little map function that allows you to pin-point the exact location of the lounge that you’re heading to as well. Remember to bring along your Priority Pass card when you visit your next Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport – they will need that as well as your boarding pass for verification.

There are currently a total of 12 Priority Pass Lounges that you can access at Singapore Changi International Airport. They are:

19. Crystal Jade Go (Airside Restaurant)

For those who are unaware of how Singapore Changi International Airport is like, you would want to know that the airside of Terminals 1 to 3 are all linked via the skytrain. This means that you will also be able to access any of the airside lounges within Terminals 1 to 3 once you’re on the airside. As for Terminal 4, it is currently a budget terminal. Hence, it is served by one lounge – the Blossom Lounge as well as a restaurant Crystal Jade Go. They are both located on the airside of the International Departures (in the Heritage Zone on the Mezzanine Floor). Blossom Lounge does have showers, wi-fi, refreshments and alcoholic beverages. However, due to its location at T4 (without connection on the transit side to T1/T2/T3), we will leave it out of the coverage of this post.

Also, as SATS Premier Lounge and Ambassador Transit Lounge have their presence in more than one terminal – even though we have visited the same lounge at all terminals, we have limited their coverage to just 1 post because the facilities and amenities within are pretty much the same.

Without further ado, let’s find out which would be the Priority Pass Lounge that you should visit on your next flight out of Singapore Changi Airport!

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Food (If you have 1 complimentary Priority Pass)

We have scoured all the Priority Pass lounges at Singapore Changi Airport and are happy to report that the best Priority Pass Lounge for food would be SATS Premier Lounge!

If you’re a fan of Singapore local delights, you’ll be in for a treat. During our visits, we were always able to find local delicacies such as chicken rice, laksa, butter chicken and kway teow soup. What’s more, while other lounges try to mimic and do the same, SATS Premier Lounge’s food still tops in the taste department. A decent selection of alcohol (liquor, wines and beers) complement your meals here.

What’s more, all SATS Premier Lounge in Singapore Changi Airport comes with massage chairs that can fully recline! WHAT?!

You can access SATS Premier Lounge at Terminals 1,2 and 3 of Singapore Changi Airport.

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Food (If you have more than 1 complimentary Priority Pass)

Remember we said that there’s one particular “lounge” that is not really a lounge? The “lounge” is called TGM (formerly known as The Green Market) and it is actually a restaurant. Hence, it is only natural for a restaurant to top in the food category for airport lounge in Singapore.

We were pretty much impressed by the quality of food and portion of the Japanese/Korean selection offered here. Hence, in actual fact, the food taste (though of different cuisine) is of a higher quality than SATS Premier Lounge.

The only catch is that since it is not a lounge, you will not be able to enjoy complimentary alcoholic drinks or find a cozy corner to read some newspapers/magazines. Hence, this “lounge” is only suited if you have more than 1 complimentary Priority Pass. Have a meal here and proceed to other lounges to chill out before your next flight out.

You can access TGM at Terminal 3 of Singapore Changi Airport.

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Alcoholic Drinks

Truth be told, most of the Priority Pass Lounges have alcoholic offerings that are pretty much similar. However, 2 lounges stood out for us. At Plaza Premium Lounge, you’ll be able to get the beer on tap! Who can resist a delicious draught premium lager? 🤤

At Dnata Lounge (no longer available on Priority Pass), though there isn’t beer on tap, there is strangely a selection of Japanese beers including Asahi and Sapporo on offer here…

As for wines, we found The Chocolate Block red wine at Marhaba Lounge to be exceptional as well. Another great addition to this category.

As for liquor and wines, all other lounges that offer them are pretty much on par.

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Clean Refreshing Showers

To complete this review, we’ve also visited the showers of Priority Pass Lounges at Singapore Changi Airport. We found that Plaza Premium Lounge has one of the best shower facilities among Priority Pass Lounges in Singapore…

We found that the shower cubicles here at Plaza Premium Lounge is one of the few that are cleaned after every usage. The shower has hot showers that come on pretty quickly and have good water pressure. This is unlike some showers we’ve visited (they won’t be named here) that are wet, grimy and is obviously not cleaned after several usage – towels are sometimes missing. At Plaza Premium Lounge, once you’ve been allocated a shower cubicle, you’ll be sure that towels, amenities and a refreshing warm shower awaits!

Plaza Premium Lounge can be found at Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport.

If you’re on the landside, we also found the shower facilities at Changi Lounge to be pretty good as well!

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Sleeping Overnight

Besides the massage chairs at SATS Premier Lounge, we found only one other Priority Pass that have reclined chairs that allows transiting passengers to have a much needed rest (without paying for a room that is). This, we found at the new Marhaba Lounge at Terminal 3 of Singapore Changi International Airport

Of course, if you’d like to have a proper room to rest overnight at the Changi Airport, you’ll be able to do so at Ambassador Transit Hotel at Terminal 2, Ambassador Transit Hotel at Terminal 3 or the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel (landside).

The Marhaba Lounge can be found at Terminal 3 of the Singapore Changi Airport.

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Smokers

Normally, we wouldn’t recommend this lounge because the food quality was lacking and you have to get coupons in exchange for alcoholic drinks. However, there is one upside for Ambassador Transit Lounge – it is connected to an outdoor patio where you can watch planes taxi and also grab a quick puff of smoke at that.

Best Priority Pass Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport FOR Landside Lounge Access

Changi Lounge is currently the only lounge that is available on the landside of Changi Airport – though there are other landside restaurants such as Terrace Chinese Kitchen and Chutney Mary Indian Fast Food.

Changi Lounge is a pretty basic lounge, considering that it currently does not have a hot food buffet and just a selection of a few hot dishes for guests. Hence, unless you really need a break on the landside, airside lounges at Changi Airport are definitely more value-for-money options.

Best Priority Pass Restaurant at Singapore Changi Airport

As for the Best Priority Pass Restaurants at Singapore Changi Airport, we found that besides TGM, Terrace Chinese Kitchen and T4’s Crystal Jade Go to be pretty good as well.

  1. Hey thanks for the great content but I was wondering if the Lounges aren’t included anymore as I can’t find the Plaza Premium Lounge in der Priority Pass App.?

    1. Hi Giovanni,

That is correct. Several Plaza Premium Lounges has been removed from the Priority Pass collaboration since 2021. Do check out this article for more information
