Vincom Times City in Hanoi is one of the many Vincom that you can find in Hanoi. Vincom is usually a mega mall or shopping centre that caters to the burgeoning middle/upper middle class in Vietnam. At Vincom, you’ll be able to find restaurants, shopping for the masses and even cinemas and gyms. This time, we visited Vincom Times City after a Love Hanoi event for dinner at the Pizza Company and a night out…
About Vincom Times City Hanoi
Vincom Times City is actually a mega mall located at the Hai Ba Trung district in Hanoi Vietnam. It is actually a residential district of Vinhomes where you can find modern, high rise for the upper middle class population of Hanoi. The interesting thing about Vincom Times City is that it is actually located underground. In this way, the homes that are located in the vicinity, can have direct access to the shopping and dining options just downstairs. A very smart development, bringing convenience to the masses.
Dining at The Pizza Company Vincom Times City Hanoi
To be honest, our first option was actually not The Pizza Company but the Al Fresco’s just opposite to it. However, after standing at its entrance for a couple of minutes with no service staff in sight, we decided to hop over to The Pizza Company.
The interior of The Pizza Company was brightly lit, welcoming and clean. Does have the vibe of an American pizzeria although we found out that The Pizza Company originated from Thailand. Although it was rather crowded during our visit, there was a section at the back of the restaurant that was still rather empty. We were shown to this section where 2 other families were dining. Service was prompt and we were immediately seated with menu brought over to us…
The Pizza Company Menu
After browsing through the menu, we decided to go with the signature pizza called the Seafood Pesto with the extreme crust (with hotdog and cheese). It was priced at 349k VND or approximately $20SGD. We also had the Kumquat Tea and Heineken beer for 49k VND ($3 SGD) each. The total came up to 447k VND nett. Taxes were probably included in this price. A quick comment on the prices. The median income of citizens in Hanoi is about $1500SGD per month. This means that a pizza that costs $20 is probably a weekend treat or that Vincom Times City caters to the wealthier population in Hanoi.
What We Had at The Pizza Company Vincom Times City Hanoi
In terms of the portion, the medium size pizza was good for two to share. The extreme crust was also a good add-on. We enjoyed the cheesiness of the crust along with the chorizo-like hotdog within the crust as well. The ingredients on the pizza such as prawns and broccoli were rather fresh as well. Pesto flavours added to the European taste of the pizza. Rather good actually.

We actually enjoyed our time at The Pizza Company of Vincom Times City. Pizza was good – especially when dining-in, fresh out of the oven. Service was prompt and the waiting staff could speak English rather fluently as well. However, if given another chance to visit, we would still like to check out Al Fresco’s due to its modern interior decor. If you have dined at Al Fresco’s in Hanoi, do let us know more in the comments section below!
