Tom Tian Zi Fang (田子坊) was an area that we visited while we were in Shanghai. Kate had planned for a visit to Tian Zi Fang (田子坊) because of the quaint surrounding with trendy cafes and art studios.

Tian Zi Fang (田子坊) in Shanghai offers travellers a totally different feel from the old Shanghai or Shanghai cosmopolitan city. We love the narrow alleyways and being able to find a new store or quaint cafe at every turn. Case in point, at one of the corners, we entered into this art shop and realised that all its artwork used clouds as the backdrop. There were cloud bears, cloud dogs, cloud panda, cloud whale, cloud…you get the drift. THEY WERE SOOOOO CUTE!!!

After all that shopping, you can also choose to drop into one of the many cafes at Tian Zi Fang (田子坊). The one that we visited, allowed us to have a go at BOTH WAFFLES AND PANCAKES! Great tasting ones at that! Also, there was free wifi available plus a balcony view overlooking the alleyways of Tian Zi Fang (田子坊). A great way to chillax.
