After our meal at Tamago-en, we headed to Tipsy Panda to have a couple of drinks and chill. In this review of Tipsy Panda, we’ll share the ambience within and the drinks that we had this time…
Ambience of Tipsy Panda
At the entrance of Tipsy Panda, there is a wall that segregates the exterior and interior. Walking past, you’ll see the bar area…
Although the premise was relatively small, the venue felt spacious. Could be due to the high ceiling, or that we were sitting on the lower dining tables. After browsing through the menu, we stumbled upon several interesting choices such as the moonlight truffle beef hor fun, Claypot rice with bonito flakes, Szechuan Panda noodles and Tipsy’s burnt cheesecake.
We then chanced upon the “Drink for a cause” where every Frosty’s Lager ($11 – HH) ordered will contribute to the supporting of African Penguins at the Singapore Zoo. What better way to enjoy a beer than to do so with a cause? 😁
We also ordered the IPA ($13-HH). Somehow, it tasted really familiar…
Turns out, the IPA is from Brewerkz! Well, at least the guess was correct. We also found out that there’s a small little platform in Tipsy Panda…
We approached the team and asked if there would be live performances. To which, we were told that it was not a stage but merely used for DJ purposes. In reality, we thought it could probably fit a 2-3 piece band/performance. If that happens, it would certainly bring more live to Tipsy Panda!
