Due to a restriction on ownership of foreign cars, many locals still own cars that were around since the 1950s. This is why vintage 1950s cars can be found readily in Havana, Cuba. They’re everywhere! However, things are starting to change and car ownership rules have been relaxed in recent days. So, make use of the opportunity to visit Havana soon! A ride in one of these cars from the airport to the old town in Havana costs approximately $25USD.

Top Things to do in Havana Cuba – 5. Take home a Cuban Rum
We don’t usually drink rum. But we’ve got to say that Cuban rum is really quite good! The bottle even comes with a dispenser so that you can pour out the rum just like a bartender. We brought the rum to Cancun and finished it in 2 days…that says alot for beer fans (go Tiger Beer!) like ourselves.
