Having previously visited both the Travel Club Lounge at KLIA T2 during our transit from Phu Quoc Island, we had the impression that Travel Club Lounge is just a “functional” lounge that meets your refreshment needs and may or may not even have shower facilities. However, this visit to the Travel Club Lounge at KLIA T1 changed our perspective altogether. It was spacious, bright and even had separate zones for guests to pick where they’d like to sit and chill…

Our first impressions of Travel Club Lounge KLIA T1 was that it was quite spacious. Compared to its counterparts in KLIA T2, the Travel Club Lounge at KLIA T1 was a mammoth. Here, you have several sections to choose from. You can head to the dining area where there are seats as well as some more private seats with view of the runway. Then there’s the bar area where you can chill, have some beer or gourmet coffee. Next to the bar, there’s also a more private area (away from the viewing gallery) that has comfortable seats. Lastly, the entire stretch at the end of the lounge gives floor-to-ceiling views of the runways.
Definitely didn’t see this coming when we first thought of visiting Travel Club Lounge KLIA T1. Next, it was on to the food selection.
What We Had at Travel Club Lounge KLIA Terminal 1 via Priority Pass

All in all, we were very impressed with the Travel Club Lounge at KLIA T1. So there’s Travel Club Lounge (at KLIA T2) and there’s Travel Club Lounge (at KLIA T1) – they’re pretty different. We love the ambience at Travel Club Lounge Terminal 1 (Kuala Lumpur) and there were plenty of seats with different zones to choose from. The only downside is that only beers are available here – wines and liquors are at additional charge. Nonetheless, with the gourmet coffee and excellent food selection, we think that Travel Club Lounge (at KLIA T1) can be an excellent choice for Priority Pass airport lounge if you’re transiting or traveling to/from Kuala Lumpur International Airport!
