The Golden Gate Bridge is THE most iconic attraction of San Francisco. One might even say that you have not been to San Francisco if you have not been to Golden Gate Bridge. But the big question is, where should I go to have the best view of Golden Gate Bridge?
Travel Tip 1: Park at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center
First and foremost, you should try to secure a parking at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. The parking fees are only 25 cents per 15 minutes for a maximum of 2 hours. That is really cheap given the notoriously expensive parking fees in San Francisco. In addition, you’ll be able to learn more about GGB at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. Inside, you’ll learn why the Golden Gate Bridge has such similar features as the Eiffel Tower (refer to architect Joseph Strauss) and the incredible amount of steel wires used to construct the bridge. All that in the 1930s!

Travel Tip 2: Walk on to the Golden Gate Bridge
Some tourists just want to take a photo next to the Golden Gate Bridge as remembrance. But we say, you have definitely got to step on the bridge. Well, firstly because you can SAY that you have stepped on GGB. But secondly and more importantly, you’ll be able to catch a close up view with the supporting beams of the Golden Gate Bridge, which in our opinion, are equally iconic.
