Tree Bee Coffee was the cafe that we visited during our walk around Ho Tay Lake in Hanoi, Vietnam. From the outside, Tree Bee Coffee looked like a meticulously designed venue with alot of wood furnishings around the entrance and balcony. However, it was until we entered to the roof top level, that we realised how intricate and elaborate Tree Bee Coffee really is…

Inside Tree Bee Coffee Hanoi
It was actually fascinating to visit Tree Bee Coffee in Hanoi. Besides the rows of “chopped wood” at its entrance, there is a tree that resembled the hexagonal bee hive structures as its branches…
Upon entry into Tree Bee House Cafe, we browsed through the menu at the counter – mostly in Vietnamese. But we were able to see that they had some signature drinks written in English. This time, we ordered Bee Waving (55k VND – $3.3 SGD) and Bee Cloud (55k VND – $3.3 SGD) . The staff explained to us and we thought they sounded ok…
At the second level, there were some outdoor balcony seats that overlooked Ho Tay Lake while the third level had some cosy tatami seats.
At this juncture, we were already pleasantly surprised by the interior decoration of Tree Bee House Cafe. But there was to be more surprise ahead at the roof top of Tree Bee Coffee Hanoi…
Once at the roof top of Tree Bee Coffee, we eventually found the hexagonal bee hive-like seats, iconic of Tree Bee Coffee Hanoi! How could a cafe be THIS elaborate, we thought to ourselves. This is how it looks like in video…

What We Had at Tree Bee Coffee Hanoi
This time, we tried Bee Waving (Mojito – 55k VND) and Bee Cloud (Watermelon / Passion Fruit – 55k VND). Both drinks were delicious. Bee Waving though – was “virgin” Mojito. Of the two drinks, we prefer Bee Cloud with the fresh fruits of watermelon and passion fruit within. Somehow they matched.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tree Bee Coffee Hanoi. The views, the interior decor, the drinks and most importantly the hexagonal beehive-like structures were what made our visit to Tree Bee Cafe. At just $3 SGD per drink, it was so value-for-money.
