Umiga BBQ Hanoi Review: Good BBQ cuts cooked and served as you eat!

What we had at Umiga BBQ Hanoi (Beef BBQ set at 478k VND ~ $27 SGD)

After our excellent massage at Fuji Spa, we sat in the waiting room to Google where we would be heading to for lunch. As we had cravings for Korean BBQ, we stumbled upon Umiga BBQ which had relatively decent reviews and decided to give it a try. However, lunch time was almost over and we were pretty much trying our luck here…

By the time we reached Umiga BBQ, they were about to be done with lunch. Some of the staff were also having lunch themselves. After checking in with the supervisor, we were allowed in for lunch and we selected our meats quickly…

There were several aspects that we enjoyed about dining at Umiga BBQ. Firstly, the service was top notch. After our orders were taken, the charcoal was brought promptly to our table. Thereafter, the Korean side dishes came along as well. Throughout the meal, the meats were BBQed for us such that the meats were always cooked to perfection – all we had to do was just grab a lettuce, wrap the meat and pop them into our mouths. As we finished our first plate of vegetables quickly, the refills were done promptly as well. In terms of the taste department, the side dishes were good and the meats were definitely the highlight of the meal. The dips were legit as well. Even the cold noodles felt like the ones we ate in South Korea. Excellent Korean food, no hints of trying to fake it.

If you’re in the vicinity and following our itinerary of massage at Fuji Spa Center and having a meal thereafter, drop by Umiga BBQ Hanoi, you will enjoy the Korean BBQ experience here!
