Many have flocked to Restoran Shoon Huat 順發肉骨茶 because of its sweet, herbal, authentic bak kut teh flavours that appeal to the masses. Meat on those pork ribs just fall off the bones! :O The prices appeal as well (especially for Singaporeans). At 28RM ($9 SGD?!), you’ll be able to get a generous portion for 2. While you’re here, check out the signatures such as Braised Pig Trotters (乳猪脚), Ginger and Wine Chicken (姜酒鸡) and Sesame Oil Chicken (麻油鸡), so so worth the wait!

At Restoran Teck Sing, its version is called Teck Sing Paper Baked Chicken (德星药材纸包鸡) while literally next door, Restoran Bamboo’s Emperor Chicken (药材皇帝鸡) has its own band of loyal followers as well.
