Unlikely.
Here’s why…
1. Location. The 1925 Microbrewery & Restaurant is located at Jalan Besar where roads are not easily navigable and parking options are limited.
2. Pricing. Again, closely related to the location. The food prices are actually similar to that of prominent breweries like Brewerkz. However, given it’s location (away from popular tourist attractions), prices could have been more affordable. Beers were at $10++ during happy hours. Again, for a brewery, this could have been made more affordable.
3. Taste. Most importantly, in the taste department, the beers are not that fantastic. Surprisingly, there was also a layer of sediment for both dark ale and small monster beer that we ordered. As for the chargrilled beef burger ($24) that we ordered, the meat was a little dry on the inside. The pricing again made us wonder if we would revisit again.
The only glimmer we saw was with the pork belly ($15). Nope, it was not like a pork knuckle, neither was it like a tender version of braised belly. It was a fusion of eastern taste with western textures (firm to the bite). A novelty for pork bellies. We also loved the way the food were presented on those wooden trays. A nice homely feel. Wasabi fries @ $8 was not that bad either.

Nonetheless, given the above factors, we find it really difficult to revisit The 1925. Even if we’re watching matches at Jalan Besar, we’ll probably head to nearby local delights such as curry rice and nasi lemak!
