Each night, the next day’s freestyle daily (programme) will be delivered to your room. In it, you will find the day’s programme which includes timing of shows, game shows, trivias, competitions, seminars and any other important information such as adjustment of time and tender procedures. Here are some activities during the cruise…

Comedy by David Naster was probably our favourite show during the cruise. His jokes are personal and relatable while he guides you to the punch line instead of telling you straight. That’s a good comedian. The game shows are really funny as well. Take “Dancing with the Stars” for example. After one of the audience/contestant drops out of a round, he or she will be taken to another area to be interviewed on what happened on the dance floor. The host, Rodrigo (Assistant Cruise Director) would then present prizes such as old cruise photos – suggesting that you should buy your cruise photos else they will become random prizes for future cruise! Haha!
Other activities include sports competitions, art auction and of course musicals and shows by the singers and dancers aboard. We particularly liked the show called Elements where dance and music were combined with magic. Really close to Vegas standards.
As for our shore excursions, we enjoyed the cooking class in Corzumel Mexico…
The ship was berthed next to Punta Langosta shopping mall. So no tendering is required. Transportation can also be negotiated with the locals rather easily.
Altun Ha ancient Mayan Site in Belize City, Belize
Tendering took 15 minutes to the ferry terminal in Belize City. Thereafter, transportation can also be provided by the locals there.
Clear Blue Waters Roatan Island, Honduras
Tendering took 5 minutes to the ferry terminal in Belize City. But there’s also a possibility that your ship is berthed next to the harbour. Thereafter, transportation can also be provided by the locals there.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our 8D7N cruise to the West Caribbean and it would not have been possible without the dedicated crew aboard the Norwegian Jade…
