There are so many things to do in Oahu Hawaii! After leaving Maui and Big Island Hawaii , we took a flight over to Oahu during our 13 days of travels in Hawaii. In this post, we’ll check out the Top Things to do in Oahu Hawaii!

1. Things to do in Oahu Hawaii – USS Arizona Memorial

USS Arizona Memorial is one of the three memorials at Pearl Harbor Memorial aka World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument. Perhaps one of the most visited location in Oahu Hawaii, the USS Arizona Memorial is the actual site of where the ship was sunk by the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor, taking along with it, its 1000 over sailors. Definitely worth a visit for us to remember the importance of peace and the sacrifice made to protect freedom for its people…

2. Things to do in Oahu Hawaii – Diamond Head State Monument Honolulu Hawaii

Another highly recommended attraction in Oahu Hawaii is definitely the Diamond Head State Monument Honolulu Hawaii. Although the climb can be rather steep at some points of the trail up (check out the coverage of our visit to Diamond Head State Monument here), you’ll be rewarded with unparalleled views over the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu City itself!

3. Things to do in Oahu Hawaii – Hanauma Bay

What is a visit to Oahu Hawaii without visiting Hanauma Bay? Hanauma Bay is probably one of the best places in the world to do snorkeling. This is because, the protection and preservation of coral reefs here is done really well, allowing visitors to enjoy the clear blue waters and diverse marine life, right next to the beach!

If you have not tasted Dole Whip or want to taste some of the best pineapples in the world, Dole Plantation in Oahu Hawaii is a stop for you. Here, you’ll be able to taste Dole Whip (pineapple soft serve) served only in the Hawaiian Islands and Disneyland Park, visit the plantation as well as the Pineapple Garden Maze…

5. Things to do in Oahu Hawaii – Surfing @ Waikiki

If you’re an adventurous traveller, one of the top things you must do in Oahu Hawaii is to surf on the beaches of Waikiki Oahu! Here, the waves are gentle and surf lessons as well as surf board rentals are reasonably priced. Tom got to try out surfing here at Waikiki. Though it was tiring, it was still a fun experience to have done surfing in Hawaii!
